I've been asked to set up a secure web browsing environment for certain kinds of file transfers via bank websites.
I looked at the famous 'browser appliance,' but it is 3 years old!! and not maintained.
I looked at the Allardsoft appliance but it's more for email than for going to websites etc.
I'm awaiting more info from our CFO, I'm hoping secure FTP will work equally well.
My requirements:
1. A relatively small Linux or Unix appliance VM to which a few people can log in
2. A web browser contained therein from which these people can browse out, ship their file, and be done with it. Prefer Firefox because it's a bank site(s).
3. Must be easy to use.
I don't yet know the whole ACH process or source of the ACH files, I am awaiting more information etc.
Thank you, Tom
