Welcome to the forums!

Please post "ipconfig /all" from the host and "ifconfig -a" from one guest not working as well as its DNS and default gateway setting.

Your setup looks fine. As the ping works the general networking via NAT is o.K.
It seems like only higher level protocols have problem. Try to access google (for example) by IP address (Your guest DNS setup looks fine, but we better test if that is related to a non-working name resoultion). Be aware that FTP might be somewhat difficult as there are ports where the FTP host tries to open a connection to your guest which is not possible with NAT without the appropriate NAT port forwarding configuration. So leave FTP beside until browsing and DNS is working.

Can you ping the VMnet8 host adapter by its IP while using NAT?

Sorry, some more tests:

"nslookup www.google.com" in the guest while using NAT. Post the output. If that works, try to browse to google com with a browser. Check that the browser is not configured to use a proxy.

Ping works, DNS works, routing works, browsing doesn't. Strange http://communities.vmware.com/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadImage/7550/gruebel.gif

But your host can do all the things, can't it?
