The certificate warning is usual and is not a problem.
The problem seem in a connection to 172.19.129.32:902.
You say that the port is open, but converter cannot open the connection.

Have you installed Converter on the physical machine?

Just to see if is a conversion problem or a problem with ESX communication you can can simple try to convert to workstation/player/server format and save on a USB drive.

Be sure to disable any local antivirus or firewall.
Also try to do a "local conversion" (to a USB disk) with Workstation/Server/Player format.

By the way, I have a symantec antvirus install on the source machine, will it effect on the conversion?
It could be. Try to disable the service.

If you have other VM you haven't to touch your vSwitch.
Just be sure that the virtual network adapter is connected to the right network (port group) comparing it with other VMs.

Also the conversion will loose network configurations, so you have to reconfigure your new adapter.
