Why? The problem is that if people do not get to share their feelings then it's possible that others can get an unrealisitc view of a company.
After spending hours of waiting in line to get to customer service, not recieving answers from phone messages left, I felt strongly about wanting to share.
I have seen this happen all to often where companies get really greedy and while they push out pretty good software their support becomes aufull.
The problem is that if someone does not say it, or more importantly people related to VMWare don't listen, then they will never get any better... You can bet your bottom dollar that the top
executives in VMWare would like to see more realistic feedback, but it's quashed mostly by customer service and secondly not having troops on the ground to be able to answer calls.....
As a moderator perhaps you can forward my concern up through the ranks and not just critize, perhaps be concerned that there are unhappy customers around. Perhaps you miss the point.
I have been a VMWare supporter for years, promoting them, telling everyone I know when appropriate how good the product is, to have been about when the phone was answered by a curtious interested people
that obviously valued who they worked for....... I am sad to see that it's all melting away........there is to much growth and not enough foundation to support it.
