Hi,

I'm trying to thinapp autocad 2009 and thus far I've had no luck. The isolation mode is set to merged. Also, before i performed the second snapshot i made sure that the autodesk licensing service (AdskScSrv.exe) was stopped. The application build was performed on a completely clean Vmware workstation. When I try to launch the thinapped application on either the machine I did the snashop on, or on anormal machine i recieve the error message FATAL ERROR: Unhandled c0000096h Exception at 246149bh

Not sure if this applies to 2009 but to successful capture 2008 I had to download the service pack for 2008 and an update for the licensing..

I've tried applying all 3 service packs to no avail thus far. I haven't tried the license update as of yet, although considering it runs ok on the system it was installed on for thinapping purposes, I'm think it much something incorrect in the thinapp application itself?

I'm not saying we do not have something within ThinApp that breaks it but please try the license update just to make sure..

I've tried what you suggested, in addition to applying service packs 1 to 3. Still seeing that error message however. Is there anything I need to manuaully stop in services before performing the second capture?

You should always stop all newly installed services before you run the post installation snapshot. If it will help you with AutoCAD 2009 I have no idea.

Sorry but I am running out of ideas.. I know there is people ThinApping AutoCAD so I hope someone with more knowledge about the 2009 will help you out. If you are a customer please open a support ticket.

Hi..

ThinApp 4.0.4 was released today. It contains AutcoCAD fixes..

The 4.0.4 release resolves these issues:

* AutoCAD crashes on startup.

I hope rebuilding your project with the latest version will fix your problem..
