Hi all,

I am a new user, I have installed VMware Esx in my pc but I don't know how to monitor this...

By the use of VI Client can I come to monitor this...??????

But if I want to use VI client to monitor Esx server I need one more pc to install VI client.

Can you please clarify my doubts.....

Yes, you can do it using VC, you don`t need another PC, you need simply a VM. or command bar tool esxtop

did u install ESX on a VM in your pc or on the local pc itself.

If you have ESX installed directly on local pc then create a windows VM and install VC (you wil get VIclient by default) in the windows VM you can monitor the performance of the ESX server.

esxtop will also do the work but VIclient gives it in GUI form....

Some data can also be read with the VMware Client.
Or with vCenter Server.

Also there are a lot of monitor programs, like Veeam Monitor.
