Hi all,

This should be fairly straight forward. Can somebody please confirm something for me?

In VI3 when you install VUM and enter a u/p this is used for the install only. Is this still the case with vSphere? The installer now says ...."Update Manager will need this information to connect to the vCenter Server at startup." This is unclear, is this just for the startup of the installer or startup of VUM each time the service starts?

Cheers

Dan

It's only for the installation process.
VUM service (as other services) will run with SYSTEM credential.
