Hi,

I have a question regarding VMware Remote CLI scripts. The script vifs.pl allows us to manage files on a particular datastore.

With it, we can list files, upload, download, delete files...

And my question is if there's a way to retrieve size of file by using VMware SDK for Perl

You sure can, take a look at this script: listDatastoreFiles.pl

The script listDatastoreFiles.pl is great. But it can't list the vmdk flat file along with its size. It only shows the vmdk file's size.

vifs.pl gives a way to list vmdk flat file but it can't retrieve the size.

Someone knows how to retrieve the actual size of virtual disk. (size of file vmdk flat)

Please help!

Never mind, i figure out how to do it.

I access Virtualmachine->config->hardware->device to retrieve size of virtual disk.
