Hello all,
I'm new to the community. I've been using VMware Products for a few months now, and they are great, particularly for a blind person who use screen reading technology. I tried other virtualization products, and they either don't perform as well as VMware, or they are not accessible with screen reading technology. I'm currently testing VMware Workstation 7.0 and VMware Player 3.0. All I'll say at this time (Since I don't feel it's appropriate here) is that it's brilliant, particularly the new features. I'm a huge virtualization fan, and I primarily use virtualization as a hobby. I'm a final year university student, studying HND in Computing. I hope to be in technical support as a career, since I love helping people out, as well as discover workings of a computer, hence my fascination in virtualization.
I look forward to knowing you all. Keep up the good works VMware. Take care now.
From Chris.

I have searched the middle, the margins, and every corner of a couple of these forum pages twice.

I cannot find anything that in my wildest imagination I could interpret as a way to post, except for the "reply" button on an existing post.

Yep,

Use the reply button if you want to reply or comment on the current thread.

If you want to start your own then at the top in the menu for Communities, hover over All communities and then select where you want to post. Or if it in the current area (in this case VMware Communities > VMTN > General > Virtual Lounge) click on the grey title just below the header bar and the main (front) page for that community is displayed. On the right hand side in the column there is an option to 'Start a discussion'. Click on that to start posting your own questions etc..

Hope this helps,

Dan

Yes, I see it now, thanks.
I don't know why I could not find that earlier.

Now I know why--you can only post at the leaf nodes of the tree, even though the other nodes look the same in most other ways.
