Veeam Backup 4 is able to backup FT VM's using vstorage API? Is this possible to do using cli commands /rcli commands? Or maybe FT is turned off during backup?

edit: btw: Not released yet. Most likely in 1-2 months.

Is this possible to do using cli commands /rcli commands?

Hype for one. I am sure that it's just backing up the VM. I didn't read where you can't snapshot a FT VM, so what's the big deal?

FT is a ESX host level function not a VM function, so each host is treated separate. It doesn't seem that complex to me.

Veeam Backup will be able to backup FT VMs, because VMware is going to allow one snapshot for backup purposes on FT VMs in 4u1.
