ESX 3.0.2 upgrade to 3.5 & Storage VMotion posted: Aug 12, 2009 7:32 AM

If I do an in place upgrade of an ESX 3.0.2 Host to ESX 3.5 can I use Storage vMotion immediately OR do I have to upgrade the VMware tools on each Guest before I can Storage
vMotion them to a new home?

Hello.

You can use Storage Vmotion right away.
