I have downloaded it twice and run an md5 against it. But still get "Failed to import OVF package: Failed to log in to NFC Server" when I try to import the applance.

Hi

This issue doesn't seem to be AppSpeed related. for your convenience we have looked up this error and found the following threads:

http://communities.vmware.com/thread/125068 (Restarting VC service seemed to resolve the "Failed to log in to NFC Server" issue for few members in this thread)

http://communities.vmware.com/thread/171169

Did you succeed importing a different appliance from OVF?
