For those who are having problems with VMware and Windows 7. I changed the title to VMware Server. I searched on the forum and couldn't find anything till I found the article below. Everyone might know this stuff below already.

Okay I have to tell you guys how to fix it. It was driving me nuts for
5 days and now I finally know how to fix it. I couldn't find any Google
pages on it so hopefully this will help people in the future.
To make Windows 7 work, you need to boot it as Windows NT, then you need to install VMware Tools. After that it will work.
Do not boot it as 'other' (simply because Windows 7 isn't in the Microsoft
OS list). If you do that, Windows 7 will not get the appropriate
drivers, thus limiting your experience.
