Hi,

for serveral Test reasons i want to change the Promiscuous Mode on the vswitch0 on our ESX Hosts while there are running.
Now is my question -> are there any things i have to take care of? Can running VMs (running on other NICs) be affected of this change?

Best Regards,
Patrick

Just to be sure that promiscuous mode won't affect running VMs create another portgroup on this vSwitch and enable promiscuous mode for this portgroup only.

I suppose there won't be interrupts. But what for?
If you need a sniffer just make some VM.
