Is the MS SQL 2005 Workgroup Edition O.K.?

As the documentation only shows MS SQL2005 Express or MS SQL 2005 and no hint regarding the edition I would like to know if I can use the MS SQL 2005 Workgroup Edition in a production environment for vSphere 4 vCenter?
