I installed trial versions of both the Player and Server about 6 months ago....and today tried to uninstall as I am going to be recieving licensed version of the workstation soon....however there is no program listed in the Add/Remove Programs of windows for to remove the Player and Server software and I cannot uninstall these....

I have looked in the program directory and cannot find either a file to uninstall...any ideas on how I can remove these from my compute in preperation for my workstation....seems something is corrupt as this should be a simple task and I am not confident in tweaking the registry to remove these programs...

Try re-running the Player installation setup file (from a command line) with the switch /c to clean up a bad install/uninstall. If that doesn't work, try the VMware Cleaner, and other manual steps, found in knowledgebase article 1308.
