What the devil has happened to usb support in Windows 2000? It appears I have to be at service pack 4 or be stuck with an OTHER device (VMWare's host controller) in Device Manager. Why is this now a requirement when it wasn't in past versions (2.0 support maybe)? Additionally, the remove icon always appears in the system tray! It has an Intel and Standard enhanced host contoller listed as removable! It also has my NICs listed as removable! I can actually remove them! I have this on 4 machines that I imported from physical computers using the 2 versions in the Subject line. Is there some magical line I can add the VMX file to rid myself of this offending behaviour?
