Hi,

I am looking for suggestions or may be someone already implemented this - for AD running as Guests on VMware .

So far reading online it is clear that either windows time service or VMware Tool can be used alone for Windows AD Guests. For PDC it is recommended to use VMware Tool to do time sync and running Windows Time service with nosync option.

Now for Windows AD member VMware Tool time sync needs to be disabled ? Is this correct .

Would not recommend this, AD is too crucial for time, use a source local to the AD guest (configure NTP).

Yes, that's the idea.
