Hi all

My system is Vmware 6.5.2 , Host is XP sp3

I just open 4 guest OS (2 running) in the vmware.exe and it cost over 2,200 GDI objects. (view in taskmgr)

In sort by GDI, vmware is No.1 .

Open every 1 vm(.vmx) (not running) may cost over 300~500 GDI....

I think it is too much. My IE7 with 3 frames only cost 1,073 GDI object

It sometimes make insufficient GDI resource in my host OS. Could the developer fix it?

thanks.

A work around for your situation could be to increase your windows GDI limit, as per this:

I use/administer: ESX 3.5 | VirtualCenter 2.5 | Workstation 6.5 | Vmware Server 2.0 | Windows 2003 | FreeBSD | Redhat EL
