I am running a x64 vista, 2.4 ghz quad core pc with 8 gigs of ram. I recently installed win98 using VMware-workstation-6.5.2-156735, installed directx 8.1 and installed the latest vmware tools. It all seemed to be going well until i tried playing fallout 1. The game runs, but the mouse in the main menu is frozen and doesn't move. I can't even install fallout 2 because after clicking on install it takes you to another screen where you have to choose the folder and the mouse is also frozen. The mose on the desktop is fine, it only seems to happen to directx games. What must I do to fix this? It didn't do this in older versions of vmware.
