Is there a way to connect to ESXi (installable) via command line? posted: May 4, 2009 10:59 AM

I was looking at Recovery Manager documentation and it has a screenshot using Putty to connect to ESX server - when I try to connect I get a "Connection Refused" message. From the ESXi server console there is no command line access. It would be nice to have at least limited access to the file system.

Any assistance will be appreciated,

Maxi

This is not a supported change - http://www.vm-help.com/esx/esx3i/ESXi_enable_SSH.php.
