Hi lamw,

I believe the version count got run up by my network engineer who is debugging this issue and did a lot of testing on this document yesterday. And I believe he is the one who changed the formatting (by viewing the doc in edit mode using the RTE, which adds extra spacing). I haven't seen any evidence of the application destroying content.

I'm giving high priority to the "form has been..." bug, and will update when I know more.

Thanks, Robert

Awesome, thanks for your help on this Robert! I think you will receive many thanks from the community if not from me! as it's been a nightmare for me to work on draft documents

We figured out just yesterday that the issue is related to our use of Akamai DSA (dynamic something acronym), and we're working with Akamai to identify a solution. We are working on this daily and now finally making progress.

Don't be too excited -- it's not working quite yet. We've only identified the culprit, but are still working on understanding the mechanism for the error, then we can fix it.

LOL, I understand that, there's a number of factors that can still slow down a fix (let's not get into details).

However I also know -as a developer myself- that identifying the culprit and being able to reliably reproduce (which i'm not sure your developers can yet) is an extremely important step for being able to fix it. Now it is only a matter of time..

We are rolling out a fix for this issue on Thursday (June 4). Some Akamai-based acceleration we are doing to improve site performance caused the communities platform not to recognize certain session data, and therefore return errors. We will turn off the acceleration for this function only (committing document edits). I will post again on this community when the fix is live (may be Friday in some parts of the world).

Thanks for your patience with this issue.

Hi Robert,
Very cool. Thank you for getting this resolved.
Will be testing it for you the day after the fix is in place.

This fix does not appear to have worked. I'm discussing options with my technical team to work out next steps. Thanks, Robert
