The excitement surrounding vCMA is very encouraging. And we would like to know what else we could do that will make the lives our end users simpler.

If you're excited about the existing feature set...that's cool :-) But please do let us know if there is anything that's not so cool and whether we have missed something that

should have been there all along. Thanks.

First, vCMA is great! I had no problems getting it setup. A feature I think that would be beneficial would be a console access button, if at least to see if there are any error messages displayed on the console. Other than that, very cool app!

Not really a feature for the wish list, but maybe there could be some consistency with regards to the BACK buttons, i.e. have them on all pages rather than just some. It's not a necessity, just a nicety. Obviously users can also use their browser back button

vCMA is a very nice apps, the setup is very straight forward.

Regarding features, I am second on jrburns, feature on console access would be nice. Also if it support update manager and converter plugin would be fantastic. ;)

1. "My Fav VM" or something - ie: save a few vm's to your homepage or something, or be able to create a folder and then link to whichever vm's you want to.. that would be easier than searching for it each time? just a thought...

2. Click "Migrate" - search for VM , returns VM list , Select Vm - then click Next - now you have to search for a destination Host to migrate to? - so how would i know what host this VM lives on? without actually looking at the Vm properties first - it would be slick to list the current Host before you select the destination host.

3. Resource Pool stats, Currenly i only see the resource pools and the vm's under them, but no stats on the pools themselfs....

4. Cluster Stats, ... this would be nice :)

Great Product so far guys, keep up the good work - those are probably in your pipline, but just a few thoughs as i was using the software....

Regards,

Sweet! Very easy to install and use!

1) I'd like to be able to edit settings for hosts and VMs. Like RAM for a VM. Or disconnect an .ISO to be able to vMotion a VM.

2) The performance graph is great! I'd like the same for disk and network performance.

This can be a true killer! Please continue to pack it with most VIC features, it will keep Hyper-V at bay for longer..

I tried it with vSphere. Seem to work just fine!

Btw. How do you shut down the appliance VM cleanly?

The appliance has Tools installed so you should be able to power it down cleanly using any client. Note that if you power it down using the Mobile Access client, you've effectively locked yourself out until you get back to your desk. :)

Ah, yes. I see.

Still, can we have the login/password for the appliance to have a look inside? ;-)

Of course - root/vmware. I'll highlight it in the next version of the doc.

Briefly, why? :) Serious question, I don't know that I understand the value here. Thanks.
