I need it, to be able to identify VM's when im using Altiris RDP.

You could try adding a custom attribute to it.

What about using the UUID or MAC?

We use LANDesk and we name our VM's to match the asset tag.

In our environment, the VM's, when created, are named to match the asset number as assigned by our OS Teams. We do not identify our servers using a name, we use an asset number.
