Only asset tag, would solve my problem.

If you know of any custom value, that gets piped to a asset tag, in the VM, it could be a solution.

I havent found anything in the document, that can helt me thou.

This means that he cant connect the Mac adress og UUID to the VM.

So it wont work.

I made a SR to Vmware, and their response was, that its not posible today. I have then made a Feature request on the subject, so ill keep my fingers crossed, that it will be an upcomming feature

Acording to vmware, there is no way of creating a asset tag, on a VM.

Can Landesk provide that feature ?

I need to see the Asset tag, when i boot my VM using PXE, and it shows up, in my Altiris RDP console.
