Vista 64 Boot Camp - Windows did not shut down properly error.

I have trying to get VMware Fusion Version 2.0.2 to work with my Vista 64Bit SP1 Boot Camp partition but each time I get an error stating that 'The boot Camp partition is not prepared to run as a virtual machine. It appears that Windows did not shut down cleanly the last time it was used'.

After reading some of the forums this is what I have tried so far, but with no success.

1 Booted into Windows Vista via Boot Camp and scheduled a CHKDSK (fixing file System errors and Scan for and recovery bad sectors). Rebooted into Vista so that it could run and it reported no problems with the Windows partition.

2. Booted into OS X and deleted and trashed the Virtual Machines folder in ~/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/

3. Tried to get Fusion to recognise the boot camp partition again and it still fails with the error that windows was not shut down cleanly.

I am not sure what else I can do to get it to work. I have attached the VMware Fusion Log file.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Additional Info :

I am using OS X Version 10.5.6 on a Mac Pro.
