Hello !

In task&event tab i can see some log information it is the same as part of /var/log/vmware/host.d but,

my boss asked me to grow period of log information whitch i can see from GUI. During 3 hours i searched any information, but did not find any :(

Any ideas?

And question 2:

When i do not find any information about up question i thought that much space in events tab occuped Map Disk Region events from VCB. May be i can swithch off VCB logging into Event log?

(option vcbMounter ... -L 0 not solve this problem).

Thank you!

Hello,

Moved to vCenter server forum.

Any change like this would be a vCenter option, but I do not know of one. However, you may instead wish to use a centralized log file server and analyzer, or perhaps something like PowerGUI which can also read the log.

However the one you see in the VIC is stored in VCs databases and that goes away after a while, you have to periodically dump the table to get it.
