Hi Rati,

I have answered your questionin your other thread as well posting again here.

If by instances you mean Virtual machines then you can check that in three ways.

1) From Command line : execute vmware-cmd -l after doing ssh to the ESX server.


2) Through VI client : Connect the VI client to the IP of the ESX server then you can see the VMs


3) Through Web access : Give your esx server ip in a web browser and then check the VMs
