Hi there,

Having problem setup Lab Manager, got to the step 6: Prepare Hosts, I can't tick the 'Prepare' in the list, it's greyed out, and the 'User Name" displays 'Unsupported". For the Username and Password, I have tried root credential of the ESXi host and administrator on the domain, when I click 'Next>', it returns the error 'You need to select at least one host'. Screenshot is attached.

I installed ESXi host first, and then VirtualCenter, and then Lab Manager, all installed ok. Datacenter in VirtualCenter was setup ok. I added domain administrator in VirtualCenter administrator at Datacenter level. I can use root user to logon directly to ESXi host from guest and VirtualCenter server, and use domain administrator to logon VirtualCenter from guest and VirtualCenter server.

ESXi server is 3.5.0, VirtualCenter is 2.5.0-104263, and Lab Manager is 3.0.1-378. All evaluate version. Any idea?

Thanks.

Lu

I'm having this exact same problem, but my version is ESX 3.5.0 Update 2, not ESXi. And, as far as I have read, 3.5.0 Update 1 is the minimum requirement.
