So are others besides just me getting calls still from booth vendors at VMworld? I just got another one this morning and I had no idea what the company was or what products they were "showcasing". I would've thought they would've called sooner because at least for me I don't remember 1/2 of the vendors I got swag from or what they actually were providing to the virtual world.

Yeah, I'm still getting those calls as well. The e-mails have all but stopped, but every now and then I get a random call from (like you said) someone I don't remember visiting.

Still trying to get my local CDW rep to get me one of those USB sticks that they ran out of with 3 people in front of us in line too!

That's not surprising, you don't say much anyway. :-)

This is the punishment you get for accepting free swag and I have learned my lesson.

I brought home 0% swag, didn't get anything except the ugly blue vmworld bag, which even my wife didn't want, so I threw away(as did most everyone else I noticed)....But I learned my lesson a couple years back. The tradeoff for the toys is the calls. So, no toys, and this time....NO CALLS. I can't tell you how pleased I am, I'm still getting calls from the last vmware thing I went to in Atlanta about 2 years ago. Never again.
