I have successfully installed the VMWARE MIBs and configured SNMP correctly on our ESX servers. However, if I power off one of the VM's as a test, an event is generated, but does not reflect the VM Hostname. Its just says a VM has been powered off. I've read some older posts where users have had a similar issue, but have not come across any fix. I'm wondering what format string I need to use within the ITAssistant alert to pull the hostname. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, it would really help me out. Thanks in advance.
