Hi all,

is there any (know) problem if i choise Centos 5.X for the host/guest machines with Vmware Server 2 ?

And, yes i know:

1) Oficially Centos 5.X is not supported in Vmware Server 2 like a host and/or guest

2) Centos 5.X is "100% binary compatible" with RHEL 5.X that if oficially supported by Vmware Server 2

Regards

Hi,

I run my VM Server 2 on CentOS 5.2. There are running 3 CentOS 5.2 Guests and one Windows Server 2003 and one Windows Server 2008. All without major problems.

Hope this information helps.
