Hi,
Last month I installed VirtualCenter 2.5 update 1 and used a locally installed SQL2000 instance as a database for it on a physical server running Server 2003.
I now have large gaps of missing statistics for periods of 3 days appearing at all levels of from cluster to host to virtual machine. I have checked the database and the three roll up jobs appear to be working, there are no errors and the SQL Server Agent is running.
Attached is a screenshot of the last months CPU performance for one of our virtual machines.
I have two clusters one running hosts with ESX 3.0.2 and the other with 3.5.0 update 1 and it is happening at the same time on both clusters.
The hardware is an IBM 14 Blade Center HS21 attached to a DS4700 SAN and the virtual center server with database is on an HP DL360G4 attached through a gigabit switch.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
