I use VMware Workstation 6.5 for Linux and suffers a strange problem.
When I start a virtual machine, I found that the several keys doesn't work (some of them doesn't response and others response incorrectly)
These problematic keys are all at the right side of the keyboard.
And it is not because of the settings of the guest os, since the problem occurs even in the BIOS setup of the guest vm. And no matter how I set the numlock, capslock, scrolllock, the problem is still there.
Is there anyone have the same problem and how to deal with it? Thanks!
The details:
Actual Key | Response |
<Down> | <Win> |
<Up> | none |
<Left> | <Alt> |
<Right Alt> | <Enter> |
<Right Ctrl> | <PgDn> |

Hello
I am not vmware member, so my suggestion is not absolut true. But try to set "xkeymap.nokeycodeMap = true" in ~/.vmware/config or ~/.vmware/preference file
It works! Thanks a lot!!
Good luck
