Hi

Is it possible to lower the refresh rate of the performance statistics database insertion of VirtualCenter? By default, VirtualCenter insert performance statistics into the database every 5 minutes, I would like to change that. Is there any way?

Thanks and regards

Yes, you can change it from VI client, go to Adminstration->VirtualCenter Management Server Configuration->Statistics->click on 5 Minutes and edit to your choice. Good luck and welcome to forum. See attached image for details.

Hi Stefan, thanks for your answer. My VirtualCenter have the same parameters as your screenshot. I've been doing some tests and changing the "interval duration" only affects the number of samples that are inserted in the database not when they are inserted. For example:

With "Interval duration" = 5 -> 1 sample inserted every 5 minutes

With "Interval duration" = 1 -> 5 samples (one for each minute that has passed chronologically) inserted every 5 minutes

I want the insertion to happen each minute (not the 5 in one go).
