Update: I received the Chip PC email for the free thin client yesterday afternoon, however, it did go to my junk folder so for those of you who have spam filters, check your junk folder.

The free Chip PC thin client offer is only valid for those who attended a VMware lab. It's not as if 14,000 people are automatically getting Chip PC thin clients. That said, all the labs were full to the best of my knowledge so I Chip PC would still have plenty of thin clients to ship out for those who actually attended a lab and then followed through by filling out the application to receive their thin client.

Thank you Chip PC and kudos for following through on the offer.

I have not received my unit yet either. This is starting to get long in the tooth. More and more this seems to be working like a rebate program. I hate rebate programs. I usually get screwed by rebate programs. It would seem ChipPC is beginning to show signs of fulfillment process issues.

I faxed in my form with credit card info on 10/1.

I sent the company an email this morning voicing my concerns and dissatisfaction.
