Hi folks!

Can somebody tell me which controller driver is better for Windows XP deployments for VDI? ¿BusLogic or LSI?

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

Randy

LSI is recommended for Windows XP , Windows 2003 and Vista

Buslogic is default for Windows NT and Windows 2000

During the install process, press F6 when it tells you to, to add the driver from your mounted floppy drive.

Unless I'm missing something....

one thing you should consider when setting up the VM. When you deploy it initially, you have to deploy it as a custom VM, otherwise by default you will be given the BusLogic driver. During the custom install choose the LSI, then boot it up, mount your OS CD/ISO and hit f6 when prompted. Mount the .flp file and you should be good.

If that doesn't work, deploy using BusLogic with the same method and you could always change to LSI post deployement if you'd like.

Attached is the BusLogic Driver and a link on how to change it to LSI

Also, I have attached the LSI Driver I use in my enviornment

Hope this helps a bit.
