So the the people that are attending, VMTN experts, and honored guests... I propose a party.

      • UPDATE ****

9/15/08 - 2000 - V Bar is the new meeting place. WE are picking a bar, so we can chat more

Sweet! Monday: 10p.m. to 2a.m. DJ Alpyne. Top 40, Club Classics, 80's, Hip Hop

Sounds like fun: V Bar is located along restaurant row, and can accommodate up to 250
people. VIP accommodations and bottle service are also available.

I say we can meet there say around 8:00 on Monday, and talk about our first day. We can meet out front, and I can make reservations under VM Motion :)

If you like that idea.. we can have fun, meet each other, get to know each other better.. Sound like a plan?

Did someone say cheesecake? I'll be there with bells on if there is (good) cheesecake.

That may be true, but you won't find a more convenient spot than right there in the same hotel as the VM World Conference... :)

So that's what I thought, plus we can not only eat cheesecake, but The Cheesecake Factory / Marie Calendar's are pretty much the best restuarants to eat on the west coast.. So anything from steaks, seafood, and chicken is all on the menu, and unless you like paying 30 bucks for a buffet, this is the best place to eat..

Now if we want to get into steak, there the BEST steakhouse anywhere in Las Vegas, Silverado Steak House in south pointe casino. The problem is, it's 10 miles south on the strip.. we need a car. Buf if you are looking for steak, I challenge you to find a better steak house anywhere in Las Vegas.

I'll take your word for it RParker. I'll be up for at least one very good steak/meal (and accompanying cheesecake worthy of my judgemental taste buds).

I prefer not to leave the strip. I've seen too many gangster movies and am aware of what can potentially happen when you get in a car full of not very well known people and head out to the desert.

Hahah.. OK, we will try not to make this the "deliverance" version of Vegas 2008 :) we can find some GOOD steak close by, I am sure of it.. w/ cheesecake! I prefer chocolate cake myself, but hey, whatever we can do to fulfill our sweet tooth, I am good.

I really haven't had a bad meal on the strip... It's all really good anyway.

If there is any type of community party on Monday night, I'm in. However, if cheesecake is involved, my wife is also in which means I can stay later :-).

I don't think discounts aren't needed. I believe RParker was treating us all.

I think someone must have bumbed their head installing ESX... I was hoping we could all meet, since it's in the same hotel, but I don't get an expense account .. maybe next year!
