Since upgrading to 2.0b2 it appears that the Boot Camp partition support no longer works.
If I boot into my boot camp partition, Windows XP requires me to activate again. My retail copy of XP has been installed on many different computers over the span of it's lifetime (although only 1 at a time... <g>) so I can no longer do the quick activation, I always need to call and read them 54 numbers and have them all read back. Needless to say, this is a pain in the a**.
When I first installed VMware 1.x this was the case, but doing it 3 times (once in fusion, once in boot camp, and once again in fusion) everything finally settled down and Windows no longer complained about needing to be activated.
Now, with 2.0b2, whenever I boot into the boot camp side, I need to re-activate, and when I go back into the fusion side, I need to do it again. It requires re-activation every time I switch.
Is there a way around this? It's driving me nuts!
