Hi,

There is CPU incompatibility between hosts in our virtual desktop cluster. So, I'm trying to change the CPUID mask > advanced setting in VM's options tab. I need to change the ecx value in Level1 tab . I've attached the screen shot for reference.

Hope my question is clear.

Any help is appreciated.

The script was perfect. IN ESX 3.5 update2 and VC2.5 update2, they have introduced a new option EVC (enhanced vmotion compatibility) which would do the exact job what the script does.

Thanks for the help!!!
