Hi,
Just installed on Windows 2003 Server x64 edition. Upgraded VM to new version. Add hardware wizard always shows "loading" and I can't add new hardware.
I tried in both firefox 3 and internet explorer 6.
Please Help! I need a USB2 controller.

Try deleting and recreating your datastores. Sometimes issues with these can cause the wizard to hang.
Paul,
Thanks for the response!
I deleted and recreated the datastores and I am still having the problem.
I also left out that I am trying to run a version 1 machine that I upgraded to version 2.

I have the same problem - and no fix either. I created the VM using the VMware converter. The guest OS is "other" (FreeDOS).
EDIT: I also have the same problem after I created a Windows VM (from within VMware Server 2.0 rc1 web interface). Just showing the annoying "loading" text...
Regards,
Mark
What is the hardware spec of your hosts?
I had similar problems with beta 1 on an ubuntu host (q6600 8GB) I found the firefox browser on the host to be very slow, and often hung. Connecting from a remote machine using IE worked much better. At the time I suspected it was a resource issue as I also found the problem to get worse as I ran more VMs. I'm not using vista ultimate 64 as the host on the same hardware with RC1, and see no performance issues or hangs.
I am running it on an HP proliant ML350 G5 with 6GB ram and SAS drives.
The host OS is Windows Server 2003 x64 edition.
I never got this resolved, however we did get the USB working because
after a reboot it showed up.

Hello,
I have the same problem... I have been running VmWare Server 2.0 rc1 for two weeks without problems. I stopped a VM to add it a HD and the server web ui hangs on Loading...
Greetings...
