I'm having an issue getting update manager to connect to the VMware/Shavlik website to download the patch metadata and I was hoping someone might have a few more suggestions I could try.
I've recently upgraded the infrastructure to 2.5/3.5 & am trying to get Update Mgr up and running.
When I go to scheduled tasks, and click "Run" to manually run the Update Download scheduled task the task does not complete and I get the error:

Failed to download host update packages
Failed to download host update metadata
************************
I've tried manually browsing to the website from this server, which has access directly through to the internet and I can browse to the site fine,

There is no local firewall running on this machine, and I have removed the IE Enhanced security package.
Any suggestions?
