VMWare Software:
-2 copies of 4-processor ESX 2.5
-1 copy of 2-processor ESX 2.5
-Virtual Center
-VMotion
-P2V

Hardware:
-Production: 2 IBM x445 with quad 2.8GHz processors, 32GB RAM (64GB mirrored), dual 100GB NIC for production network, 1 1000GB NIC for VMotion network, 2 mirrored internal 36GB SCSI drives, QLogic HBA attached to HP XP21000 SAN
-Test: 1 IBM x445 with dual 2.5GHz procesors, 7GB RAM (14GB mirrored), dual 100GB NIC, 2 mirrored internal 36GB SCSI drives, QLogic HBA attached to HP SAN, SCSI attached external JBOD array

Virtual machines are backed up via Netbackup client running under guest OS. ESX "OS" files are backed up to a Windows share using tar.

We have 1.5 TB of SAN storage for vmdk files

8 Way servers are
IBM x445, 32 GB RAM

4 Way servers are
IBMx445 16GB RAM

6 Dual Channel 1 GB Network connectors

We've got 3 DL580 G2's, 4 way, 12 GB Ram, 4 GB NICS, 2 Dual Channel HBA's
ESX 2.5.2, VirtualCenter 1.3, SMP, Vmotion
SAN Attached to EMC backend with just over 1.2TB

Currently 30 machines running

Next year we hope to bring up another 5-8 servers, another 3-5TB of SAN space, probably PlateSpin, and continue the consolidation of roughly 200-250 physical servers at our main corporate datacenter.
