I've been using VMWare for years, but recently I've put up my first ESX server. I'm running into a problem where when the ESX is rebooted, the VM's that I have marked to startup automatically do not start up.

Under configuration, under Virtual Machine Startup and Shutdown, I have 2 guests set to automatically start up. Startup is Enabled, Delay is 120 Seconds. Shutdown is set to Power Off, with a delay of 120 seconds.

The server is an ESX Server 3i 3.5.0, 70348.

I've been putting things up on VMware Server for a couple years now, but this is the first time that I've been able to convince them that an ESX server is needed, so I'm kind of rushing to get up to speed on how the ESX is different and how things work. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks much!
