Bootcamp & Fusion - MS Office keeps asking to re-activate posted: May 20, 2008 9:32 AM

Hello all,

Ended up installing Bootcamp, then re-installed Fusion using my Bootcamp partition. I read the instructions completely and installed Fusion Tools, then re-activated XP with Microsoft using both Fusion and Bootcamp, just as the instructions said. No problems there. Both instances of XP run fine.

My problem is that every single time I open up XP using Fusion, or switch back to Bootcamp, MS Office 2007 asks to be re-activated. I've already re-activated it on each, so why does it keep asking me and how do I stop it from asking?

Thanks.

At the present time Fusion does not handle OPA (Office Product Activation) like it handles WPA (Windows Product Activation).

This have been covered quite a bit in this forum and a search will provide a possible work-a-around.
