Installing RCLI with ActivePerl already installed

Wondering if anyone has been able to install the RCLI scripts without having to overwrite existing ActivePerl installations (on Windows). We have perl installed as part of our standard build in a specific location, and use other scripts for other admin tasks.

Would like to be able to run the Vmware scripts without having to install the ActivePerl installation that comes bundled with the installer

Haven't tried. We decided to use the rcli virtual appliance (Linux) as a central location to run the scripts and do our configurations. Plus, I could not find the perl script for resxtop in the windows rcli package. We really wanted to use this script so we went the Linux route.

"I could not find the perl script for resxtop in the windows rcli package."

Neither could it. This seems like a pretty basic piece of functionality to silently leave out of the windows version...
