Funny. I started my IT career in Atlanta with CompuCom way back in 1994 thru 1997. I started/invented their whole laptop cloning and distribution service with the BellSouth/LM Berry project.
I used a dos utility called pcopy to clone thousands of laptops off a Novell server and managed a crew of techs who helped me repair defective units and shipped replacements overnight to Bellsouth personnel. This was long before ghost or drive image! I eventually flew to New Jersey to train their huge depot there on the entire process. I used an Access database to track all calls and inventory too! Again, this was before TrackIT came out.
I eventually left to become a network admin and the rest is history. I have a softspot for CompuCom because they gave me that first big break.
