I have an AX150 SAN & an ESX 3.0 Server

I have a virtual File Server which has a Raw Mapping to a virtual SAN Drive

I created another File Server 2 BUT the Raw Device Mapping option is greyed out.

I've read the Raw Mapping Guide from VMW and I've looked around... I'm not a ESX Expert so I need

YOUR EXPERIENCE and EXPERTISE!! Thank you!!!!

Are you trying to map file server 2 to the same RDM?

Did you also create an new lun for the second file server?

Remember, when you assign a volume to a server using RDM, you allow that server FULL control of the lun.-----

No I have 2 virtual disks (LUNs) in one DataStore = vdfs1 & vdfs2

fs1 server -> vdfs1 (RDM)

fs2 server -> vds2 ( this is the one that I can't map)

yes I did create an additional LUN (virtual disk)
