Redhat licensing model on VI3 ?

Hi,

In the process of designing a VI3 / Redhat implementation and want to understand how Redhat license in the VMware world. I the physical world I am led to believe that each physical server requires a support subscription. If Redhat is deployed as a guest on VI3 is it one subscription per physical server with unlimited VM's, or is there a limit to he number of VM's per subscription, or is it one subscriptions per VM ?

I understand the Microsof model and would like comments / practical experiences from the comunity.

I believe that Red Hat licensing is by server just like they were still physicals. That is if you have 3 Red Hat VMs running on a ESX host then that would be 3 licenses. That is how it always was in my environments. If anyone knows of something different I would be interested to know as well.
