Hi Gurus!

Checking my VC Database I found a lot of entries in the vpxv_VM_Datastore table referecing datastores that no longer existis. I need to reuse some of the names that were used before in some datastores that were online in the past.

Can somebody tell me if is possible to purify my VC database using some kind of script or procedure? For example some days ago I found a script to remove orphaned VM of the VC Database and works fantastic!!!!

Where can I find a procedure to remove orphaned datastores from my VC???

Thanks again guys and I hope to receive to feed back from you!

Randy

In the VI client, if you go to View\Invertory\Datastores to you see the orphaned datastores listed there? If so you could remove them from there instead of touching the DB.
