After changing some director flags on our DMX SAN, our LUNs are viewed as snapshots. Resignaturing them will require a massive outage which we are trying to avoid. If we disable the LVMdisallowsnapshots flag and continue to use these LUNs as snapshots for an extended period of time, what would some of the consequences be? I realize this is not recommended but is an idea I need to explore. In other words, why would it not be recommended to do this?
